Booking a Senior Photo Session

All new clients start with a quick phone consult so we can make sure we’re a good fit. We’ll go over your vision, my style, and what to expect—so you feel confident before committing.

To reserve your session, the session fee + 50% of the minimum order deposit are due at booking.

Session Fee = time, expertise, editing, and gallery

Order Credit = applied directly to your final purchase

I’ll walk you through pricing during your consult so there are no surprises

Investment

All sessions require a Session Fee + minimum order:

Remaining 50% of minimum order due on session day

This creates an order credit which is then applied to your final purchase. Each session has a set minimum order requirement. Any remaining balance is handled when your order is placed.

We will review all pricing during your consult so you know exactly what to expect—no surprises. You’ll also receive a full pricing guide ahead of time to look over. We offer high-quality, professional products designed to last a lifetime.

All pricing is reviewed prior to booking, allowing you to make a fully informed decision. Each order is custom designed—no pre-set packages—so your artwork reflects exactly what you want to create. Our average customer invests $1100–$1800 on sessions, albums, wall art, and heirloom prints.

After The Session

Within a few days, you’ll get a sneak peek from your session—because I know you’re excited to see them.

Your full gallery will be ready in about a week, delivered through a private online gallery.

Every session includes a 1-hour in-person ordering appointment (your home, mine, or a location between us) where we can view your images side-by-side and larger, see products in person, narrow down your favorites with confidence and finalize your order.

We’ll also go over any retouching requests and make sure everything is exactly how you want it before it’s completed.

FAQs

The answers to our most common questions

What if it rains?

Great question and I get it during every phone call. There are several things we can do to work around inclement weather, and rest assured, you won't loose any part of your session fee or deposit. I love to embrace the rain, but sometimes you can't work with it. So, when that's the case, all monies invested will be transferred to a new date and time.

We don’t panic over weather—we work with it.

Full rainout → we reschedule

Scattered showers → we may adjust timing same day

Some of the best light happens before or after rain, and we can often shoot around it.

Can I just buy the digitals?

Digital files are available after a print minimum is met and are offered at a premium.

Our work is created with the intention of being experienced as finished, tangible artwork. Professional prints ensure the color, quality, and overall presentation reflect that standard.

Releasing digital files without context or control can compromise the integrity of the image. For that reason, we prioritize printed products first—preserving both the artwork and the experience it was designed to create.

Can I bring our pet(s)?

Absolutely! The only session not long enough is the Senior Express session. We love your pets and are happy to see have them along for the experience. I also carry a lint roller! A requirement for portraits with pets.

Can I bring props?

Props are encouraged. Cars, bikes, pets, sports equipment, musical instruments, letter man jackets, whatever interests you. If you can name it, go head and bring it.

How do I get Boomerang Session images into my album?

We will proceed with fulfilling your initial order and hold off on printing your book until the very end. This way, we can incorporate as much of your year into your album as you'd like to have.

What time of day do you photograph?

Lighting is everything and so is the start time—so we schedule around it.

Summer: sessions may start as late as 6pm

Fall: sessions may start as early as 2pm

Most sessions happen late afternoon into evening

If you need an morning, we would schedule to start between 7am-8:30am
